It can be due to increasing age of health workers, increased rate of elderly require more nurses to care and raised stress level in the workplace. Thus the nurses not getting enough opportunities to build up their knowledge to improve their performance. However the nursing has updated with evidence based practices, it always gives a rationale for what we do. In addition, there are specialists to work with a wide range of competencies. Continuing and in-service education systems have developed to achieve a strong work force.
