Risk prevention intervention focuses on lowering the incidence of infection and reducing high-risk behavior. Target population age group between 15 to 24 years with high-risk behavior, lack of education, poverty, the low socioeconomic background can be included in the intervention group. Intervention to improve their knowledge for using condoms, and sex education and avoiding risky behavior like having multiple partners, etc.

A mixed group format can improve knowledge of the person with self-reporting risk behavior by face to face interaction, one on one group, in terms of strategy and format to convey information by brochures.
