Question: What sort of infrastructural challenges are we likely to encounter in developing countries?

Response: Infrastructure problems, especially in developing countries, pose a serious problem in general. China is still struggling with keeping up the increased demand. Warehouses with no proper storage for all goods. Indian road conditions, south east Asian weather-related problems, are all contributing to Infrastructure problems. Important rail networks are over flooded in some countries which causes problems in supplying the goods to other parts of the world.Security is growing concern in logistics industry due to goods are being passed from provider to provider. Shippers book the cargo with local truckers in origin, who deliveries the cargo to local warehouse for handling. The warehouses then load the cargo to trucks which deliver the containers to ports. When the shipment arrives to its destination, it has passed through seven or eight different sets of hands. In other cases, sometimes not having the proper technology in certain countries with their logistics systems can cause infrastructure. There are countries that need approval for their process and routes to make deliveries within other countries. Time frames are consistently changing because of the hired skill labor involved or the demand for goods and shipments. There are some countries where there are not enough hires for the demand in the warehouses to pack and ship in general. Certain countries may not have a product and must find it elsewhere that can delay with the demand of shipment. Developing countries are building new environments such as building more roads or fixing waterways which must meet the needs of their present and future generations. Some countries are still lacking that aspect such as Africa, some of Southern America, some Indian countries where its developing more by the day. Especially now during Covid-19 there is more demand for online ordering which means more shipments involved as they may not have enough hands-on board which delays with the high demands today.
