In order to make the junior varsity team, she has been training extra hard and drinking extra fluids. Her mom believes this is the cause of her weight loss and frequent trips to the bathroom.

On a trip to the mall to buy smaller jeans, Molly collapses. When the EMTs arrive, they notice that she has a fruity smell. Her mother states that her daughter has been wearing more makeup and perfume since entering high school. She is transported to the emergency room.
