Th capital contribution is the amount of money the partner is required to pay into the partnership in order to become a partner. Even if the amount is zero, the partnership agreement should specify that the amount is zero. Similarly, the partnership agreement should identify how and when new partners may be added to the partnership, and the amount of capital contribution the new partners will have to make. For instance, the partnership agreement may require a unanimous vote of all existing partners, a simple majority or some other objective test for new partnership recruits.
Capital Contributions. The capital contributions of the Partners to the Partnership are and shall be sums equal to the amount of $300,000.00 by Brown and Thompson.
