Simon Paxton has returned home from the hospital after a motorcycle accident in which his partner was killed. His injuries have left him a paraplegic, with no voluntary control of his bladder. He has depression as a result of the accident. Simon lives alone in a ground floor apartment.

Paraplegic effects entire lower part of body including legs and pelvic organs.it is a type of paralysis.

People who are suffering from paraplegic should have personal care support.Because it effects the person movements of the parts which are effected by it.And it also effects bowel and bladder movements.

The main problem with this condition is they may be prone to infections so care must be taken.

Independence should be given to them to make decisions so they may think that they are able to take decisions including them.Wheel chair can be used so that they can move on their own.

The patient must be repositioned every few hours to reduce bed sores.

Urinary catheter should be inspected to avoid UTI's.

The people who are suffering from this condition require help in daily tasks such as dressing, feeding and running errands.

They should be checked frequently for any any symptoms including fever or infection.

2) Wheelchair,bath benches and bed pans,infection control products,sleeper chairs,walkers and wheel chair cushions ets. Can be used for completing the activities of daily living.
