now the vertical component of the tension is given by
Tv = T*4/5 (from the radius of the ring =3 and height of the support = 4 )
=> M*g = 3*Tv
=> Tv = 900*32.3/3 = 9660 lbf
=> T = 5/4*Tv = 12075 lbf
