Answer 1-following are the difference in funtion between primary and secondary lymphoid tissue
( a) primary lymphoid tissue include thymus and bone marrow while secondary lymphoid tissue include lymph node and spleen .
(b)main function of thymus is production of lymphocytes .It is the main site for lymphocyte proliferation in the body. Bone marrow is the site for proliferation and differentiation of cells of B cell origin .while secondary lymphoid organ act as filter for lymph and causes destruction of foreign material .
Events that take place in primary lymphoid tissue is proliferation and diffentiation of lymphocytes . While secondary lymphoid organ lymph node act as filter for lymph and causes distruction of microbes and foreign material . Spleen act as site for distruction of blood cells.

Innate immunity is the first line of defence against infection.Innate immunity present by birth.like skin and mucosa act as mechanical barrier for microbes for invasion . Tears contain antibacterial enzyme .

Adaptive immunity is acquired not present by birth.It is specific .It forms memory for infectious organism when it incounter antigen second time them intensified immune response occur.so both type of immunity is essential for efective immune response.
