11. Aresearch company wants to test the claim that a new memory. State the objective ofthe experiment, suggest a population, detemine the experimental and control groups, and describe a sample procedure. (SHOW WORK) multivitamin helps to improve short term

Answers

The objective of the experiment is to find if there is any significant relationship between multivitamin and improvement in short term memory

Population will be entire people of the region where the multivitamin will be sold in future. After sampling two groups will be formed and one group will be given multivitamin while the other group wont get any multivitamin and their short term memory will be compared

Experimental group: Experimental group is the group that receives the treatment i.e. people who will receive multivitamin

Control Group: Control group is the group which does not receive any multivitamin

Sample procedure:

We will find out the short term memory strength for each group and will test the same for equality of means test

If the means are equal there is no significant evidence to claim multivitamin helps in improvement of short term memory

and if mean for experimental group is greater than control group and significance is obseved we can say that multivitamin will improve short term memory.
